Sealed Deck Mana Bases: Why 17 Lands Is Only the Starting Point

Painterly fantasy tabletop scene with stacks of dark-backed cards, a glowing candle, dice, colorful faceted crystals arranged around a central deck, and a map beside an open view of a distant castle and flying dragon.

Start most 40-card Sealed decks at 17 lands, then adjust for your curve, colored requirements, fixing, splash cards, and late-game plan.
